Exercise form an essential part of trying the get your body in to shape. An increase in activity will help the muscles grow and increase your metabolism.

The Workout Plan
When choosing a workout plan by either selecting a predefined program or creating your own you have to remember to constantly "shock" your body. This means that you should change your workout plan every 4-6 weeks to continue getting optimum results.

You can choose one of the predefined programs for your 12 week transformation that will help you to get in shape. Choose a workout plan according to your own goals that you defined.

Resistance (Weight) Training
When performing resistance training the results can be anything from muscle gain and fat loss, endurance and strength, enhanced sport performance or recuperation from an injury. The way in which you will perform the resistance training will depend on what you want to achieve.

Why the muscles grow?
In simple terms when you lift the weight it creates micro-tears in your muscle tissue. Your body adapts by adding more muscle to be able to handle the load (this happens when you rest that muscle). When you can lift the weight with ease your body will stop to add muscle. To ensure that you keep your muscles growing you can do the following to continue getting results:

  • Increase the weight.
  • Decrease your rest time between sets.

    Cardio Training
    Cardio training is more for the people who want to shed some excess body fat or to improve their endurance and fitness levels. If you are a skinny guy/girl with low body fat then you will keep your cardio to a minimum.
